that Aboriginal Australians were not able to walk through the Brisbane CBD after dusk.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, catch public transport and bring wet weather gear in case of rain.

After making the decision to travel down to participate in the walk tomorrow in Brisbane to celebrate National apology, our choir was asked at the last minute to perform at the concert showcase after the walk at SLQ …. how awesome and thanks to Richard (Goondir) for making the day possible… we will post some photos later on!
Hi everyone and happy 2012!
Welcome to our first E-NEWS of the year and we have a couple of exciting things on next week – hope we see you there!
Firstly, we have been asked to sing at the Say G’day community welcoming day on this coming Wed 25th in the main street busking area, opposite Coffee Club outside the noodle shop. I will be there all day, and I am asking anyone who can to come at either 10am or 12noon to have a sing with us, or if you are working, to just pop in at any time between 9am and 1pm…. It is a feel good social inclusion event and it should be lots of fun…
Secondly, our first get together and sign-on day for choir is Australia Day, Thu 26th January at 12noon at the studio. Bring your own food and drink as usual, we will have the BBQ fired up if you want to cook and bring your song books too!!!
Thirdly, regular choir will now be on a THURSDAY NIGHT from 6-8pm commencing on the 2nd of February!!!
Can’t wait to begin the new year!!!!
